Just like climbing a mountain, you have to start at the bottom with your eye on the prize at the top! This is a picture from the mountains surrounding Gatlinburg, Tennessee. It is one of my favorite places to go because it is naturally beautiful, there are lots of things to do and see as well as lots of interesting shops for browsing. It is also a place of friendship for me, as I go every year with some dear friends for a retreat of food, fun, shopping, and sharing! I love to go with my family as well! We have had several wonderful vacations there - the boys and my husband enjoyed shopping for swords (all came home with a Lord of the Rings replica) while my daughter and I looked at everything else. We played miniature golf at the hillbilly place too! My husband and I went there for a very memorable anniversary trip and my daughter and I had several wonderful trips there during spring break!
